A period drama ‘Arasilankumari’ narrates the story of Arivazhagan (M.G. Ramachandran) and his sister Anbukarasi (Padmini). Anbukarasi falls in love with Vetrivelan (M.N. Nambiar) who is the commander-in-chief of the royal army, but he lies to Anbukarasi and Arivazhagan that he is an ordinary citizen of the kingdom and marries Anbukarasi. Arivazhagan leaves for a mission after his sister’s marriage. After Arivazhagan exit Vetrivelan deserts Anbukarasi and returns to the Palace and starts plotting against the royal family. Will Arivazhagan be able to bring Vetrivelan to realize his folly? Or will Vetrivelan’s evil intentions succeed? What will be Anbukarasi’s fate? Watch ‘Arasilankumari’ for the answers
